When will my Mymo Spending Account close?
Your account will be closed on April 30, 2024. After that date you will not be able to use the account or the debit card for any transactions.
What if I have a balance in my account?
If your account closes with funds in it, you will receive a check with the balance of your account to the mailing address listed in your profile.
Verify your mailing by going to Settings > Profile information and confirming or updating the mailing address in your profile.
I get my Direct Deposit to my Mymo Spending account. Do I need to switch it?
Yes, if you receive any paychecks directly in your Mymo Spending account, you will need to switch the destination to a new account. You will need to make this change with your employer or your payroll system directly.
How do I transfer money out of my Mymo Spending account?
To transfer money out of your Mymo Spending account, you first need to link an external account through Plaid, then move the full balance from your Mymo Spending account to your external account.
You can also withdraw your balance from an ATM. Mymo gives you access to over 50,000 fee-free ATMs in the network. You can see the closest fee-free ATM to you in the Mymo app by going to Settings > Find an ATM. Note, in some cases there may be a fee associated with this.
Will I be able to access funds after the closure date?
Once your account has been closed, it will not have any funds in it to access. Your debit card will also be deactivated, so you will not be able to use it anywhere.
We recommend switching to another account any bills or payments that automatically deduct from your account or use your Mymo Debit Card to prevent missing payments, as attempts to pay after the account closure date will not be accepted.
How do I get statements for the account after the closure date?
We recommend downloading or exporting all statements for your records before the account closure date. You can do that in the Mymo app.
After your account closure date, you can reach out to customer support at (833) 954-0801 to receive statements for your account.
